A 70-year-old man went missing under suspicious circumstances from a village under Sadar police station area. In the complaint given to the police, a resident of Mando Khedi, Sunil Kumar, said that his father Basau Ram is missing since September 7. His father has a car, which he has taken with him.
Sunil said the family spoke to his father on the phone for a day or two and it seemed as if he was with someone and was not speaking entirely under pressure. His father’s frightened voice was coming. After that day, he tried to find his father through all his relatives and in other places, but he could not find anything. His phone has been switched off since 8 September. He fears that some unpleasant incident might have happened to them. Investigating officer ASI Mahendra Singh said the police have registered a missing case.
