Gopalganj police recovered 28 cattle from the van during a vehicle check in different areas of police stations. The police arrested 9 smugglers along with the recovered cattle. The police registered a case against the smugglers who were arrested under the Animal Cruelty Act and after an investigation sent them to judicial custody and the case is under review.

SP Swarn Prabhat said that during the inspection of the vehicle, different
